Thank you for checking out my blog Bacon Wrapped Barbells.  I created this blog to share my gluten-free culinary creations.


I have been attending a CrossFit gym for over three years, and at the gym I learned about the Paleo diet.

Following the Paleo diet means that I strive to eat real, nutrient dense and unprocessed foods as much as possible, with some room for indulgences (for more about the Paleo diet, check out my blog post here).  I’ve been following the Paleo diet for several years, and created this space to share my recipe adventures in creating yummy Paleo recipes.  From delicious breakfasts, hearty lunches, comforting dinners to mouth watering desserts, my goal is to show you that eating “healthy” can be an enjoyable experience.

Prior to starting this blog, my recipes were shared via email and Facebook messages.  However, I thought it would be much more helpful for friends and family to have access to my recipes in one central location.

I also want to share with you my love of all things CrossFit and bacon.  Bacon is pretty much the best thing ever, with CrossFit a very close second.  However, I should say that burpees are one of my least favorite things ever!
